Sheree has worked with individuals, couples, and groups in private practice, Intensive Outpatient Programs, and school settings. Her approach incorporates several evidence-based therapies such as Motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and strengths-based methods. Sheree’s background is in anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges and life transitions. In addition, her experience working closely with kids in the school system has given her insight into how to support teens – and their parents – through all stages of development.

In today’s society, we are bombarded by many different pressures – at work, at school, and in relationships – that often influence our thinking and shape how we see ourselves and the world around us. These pressures can lead us to feel stressed, overwhelmed, or like we’re not good enough. I believe that people need a non-judgmental space to talk freely without worrying about anyone else’s opinion.

I aim to provide a space of safety and compassion through a calm demeanor, making sure you feel comfortable, and meeting you where you are. Even when things are tough, I like to keep things upbeat by using humor, while also giving you space to reexamine how you see yourself in the world. Together we’ll navigate your experiences to strengthen your existing coping skills while also developing new ones.

I work with teenagers and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and grief as well as those who are unsure of how to navigate change, or challenges in their relationships. I help clients find safety and comfort in being authentically themselves, create distance from the messages that make them feel less than, and identify spaces where they are loved and celebrated.

In my free time, I like to read and listen to audiobooks and just discovered a love for mystery books. I enjoy working on puzzles, traveling, sitting on my balcony, and spending time with my friends and family.
